Bread Dahi Vada Recipe
Bread Dahi Vada recipe is one among delicious Indian subcontinent dishes made with mashed potatoes and raisins along multiple ingredients to give a great taste. This lip smacking light food can be taken before and after meals or as a snacks they are easily digestible. Make your vada sweet or spicy as per your taste. You can add a frozen yogurt or can eat it warm once cooked.

Bread Dahi Vada Recipe
Prepare this lip-smacking dish of Indian cuisine in minutes
Ingredients
- 8 slices Bread
- 5 Potatoes (boiled)
- 2 tbsp Green chilies (finely chopped)
- 1 cup Butter milk
- 2 tbsp Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tbsp Coriander powder
- 1 tbsp Ginger paste
- 1/3 tbsp Red chili powder
- 1/2 tbsp Dry mango powder
- 1 tbsp Raisins
- 15 Cashew nuts
- Salt
Instructions
To make stuff
- Boil the potatoes first and smash it finely into a bowl peeling off the skin.
- Add the nuts (into small pieces or partial) with ingredients like chilies, garlic paste, chili powder, mango powder, coriander along raisin and salt in the bowl. Mix it well.
- Make this stuff into small balls and keep aside open.
To make dahi vada
- Take the bread slices and cut it in round shape for vada preparation. (You can use bowl to make that shape)
- Now take each slice of bread and spread the buttermilk over it. Now take the stuff ball and place it on the bread slice and close the sides nicely. Do it similarly for other vadas and keep aside in a plate open.
Cooking process
- Under medium flame heat the non-stick pan along ghee and roast the vadas until it becomes golden brown.
- Flip the sides and add ghee to get perfect crunchy sides. Make sure to keep the flame moderate while preparing vadas.
- Now the vadas are ready. As a last step add dahi to it
- After adding dahi pour some sweet or spice chutney on it. Also splash some spices like chili powder, salt to add extra taste.
- Now your dahi vada is ready to serve.
