Banana Lassi(Indian Yogurt Drink)
Yummy refreshing drink made with banana and often taken as dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Plain Greek yogurt
- 2 large Banana (Juicy)
- A pinch Cardamom
- 1 glass Cold water
- 3 cubes Ice cubes (Don’t use if your yogurt is a fat-free one)
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 25 g Walnuts
Instructions
Steps to make Banana Lassi:
- Peel and cut the bananas into slices and put it into the blender.
- Add the yogurt, cardamom and honey (optional) and blend until the ingredients mix together
- Simultaneously check the consistency of the lassi or add cold water to dilute it a more and then blend again for a minute till it becomes smooth. Also, make sure it is super-cold.
- Serve in glasses with fresh ice cubes. Garnish it with walnuts to add extra taste.
Notes
You can try ice cubes by adding it to the fruit before you start blending. It can give you a good and cool texture to the drink. It goes great with hot dishes and can be a perfect quick breakfast or dessert.
