Green peas paratha recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 500 grms of fresh green peas
  • 5 medium sized apples
  • 1 cup of all purpose flour
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 inch long piece of ginger
  • 1 tbsp of cumin seed powder
  • 1 tbsp of fennel seed powder
  • 1 tbsp of red pepper powder
  • 1 pinch of asafoetida
  • 1/2 tbsp of turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • As required by the oil you can use any cooking oil

Instructions
 

Boil the green peas

  • Remove the green peas from their pods. You will get about a cup of fresh peas
  • Boil over medium heat for about 5 minutes or until the grains become soft
  • Remove from fire.Empty the water and keep aside

Boil Potatoes

  • Boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker for about five minutes after full pressure is reached in the pot
  • Remove from heat and let cool
  • Peel the skin
  • Crush the boiled potatoes and keep to one side

Onion, Garlic and Ginger

  • Cut diced onions
  • Peel the ginger and dice
  • Scale garlic cloves
  • Make a rough paste of garlic and ginger

Make the stuffing

  • Heat a pan in the pan and add oil
  • Add ginger and diced onions / garlic paste
  • Cook until the raw smell disappears
  • Add spices, including salt
  • Add the boiled green peas and mix well
  • Add mashed potatoes
  • Mix well and cook for a few minutes
  • Remove from fire and keep away
  • Our peas - potato stuffing is ready

Make Dough

  • Take a cup of all-purpose flour in a saucepan
  • Add salt water and make a paste
  • Divide the dough into four equal parts

Stuff the Parathas

  • Take a dough division and spread it with your fingers. You can use a little oil on your fingers for this.
  • Put enough stuffing in the middle and fold the dough over the stuffing, cover completely

Cook the Parathas

  • Heat up a dosa pan on medium flame
  • The time the pan is enough hot add a little cooking oil into the pan
  • Do it again along with your fingers, compress the filled dough as skinny as you can on the heated saucepan
  • Adds little oil on the sides
  • Flip it over with a dosa pinball machine
  • When both sides are well cooked, remove them from the mold

Serve Hot

  • Serve hot with spicy tomato chutney
