Slice the onion into strips. Chop a clove of garlic. In a wok, heat the oil. Brown onion and garlic while stirring constantly. Pour 1 tablespoon of oil then, when it is very hot, sauté the shrimp by adding the marinade. Sauté 5 minutes to avoid drying the shrimp. Sprinkle with chopped chives and a pinch of freshly ground pepper.
